about me

just a girl with a story to tell

“I write songs about the in-between. The almosts, the what-ifs, the moments that don’t have a name yet. The kind of feelings that sit quietly until they don’t.

My music lives somewhere between heartbreak and healing — and maybe, if you’re listening, you’ll find a piece of yourself in it too.”

Kristen Laesser is a pop-rock artist who writes about the in-between — the moments that don’t have a name yet but somehow mean everything. Her music blends cinematic production with raw, emotional storytelling, pulling from real-life experiences to explore themes of identity, mental health, love, and healing. Each song feels like a snapshot of something deeply personal, while still leaving space for listeners to find their own story inside it. Kristen’s sound moves between vulnerability and power, from soft, introspective moments to anthemic releases that feel both emotional and empowering. No matter the style, her goal remains the same: to create music that feels honest, relatable, and real. At its core, her artistry is about connection — turning unspoken feelings into something that can be shared, understood, and, hopefully, a little easier to carry.

Why I'm here

“Music has always been therapeutic to me. I grew up with music intertwined in every aspect of my life. I was a huge band kid in school and started writing songs in college. I started writing because I didn’t always know how to say things out loud. Music became a place where I could be honest, even when it was messy or uncomfortable. Now, I write in the hope that one day, someone may hear a song and feel just a little less alone.”
